Jack Morton & HERE - CES 2022, 2023

Jack Morton's German branch hired us to help on their project for HERE / CES 2022, 2023.

When global brands showcase innovation at CES in Las Vegas, expectations are exceptionally high.

Every interaction, animation, transition, and visual detail is placed under scrutiny in one of the world’s most competitive technology environments.

That is where Jack Morton Worldwide brought Xfiner into the picture.

Jack Morton’s German branch hired Xfiner to support their work for HERE Technologies during CES 2022 and 2023.

The project centered around a large-scale interactive installation designed to showcase HERE’s vision, technology, and innovation through immersive digital experiences.

The challenge

CES is not a typical exhibition environment.

The audience includes global technology leaders, media, investors, partners, and highly experienced professionals who are exposed to cutting-edge installations all day long.

To stand out in that environment, every detail matters.

The installation combined:

  • Large interactive screens
  • Haptic interaction elements
  • Unity-powered visual systems
  • Motion design
  • Real-time interface experiences

The challenge for Xfiner was to craft UI details and animations that felt polished, futuristic, and immersive while supporting the broader installation experience seamlessly.

The interface could not feel disconnected from the environment.

It needed to become part of the experience itself.

Designing for a high-visibility environment

Xfiner focused on interface details, visual systems, and motion design for a three-screen interactive setup used within the HERE CES installation.

The experience was powered through Unity and designed for a large-scale exhibition context where clarity, responsiveness, and visual quality were critical.

In physical interactive environments, usability behaves differently than on traditional websites or apps.

Users interact quickly. Attention spans are shorter. Interfaces must communicate instantly.

The visual language therefore needed to be:

  • Immediate
  • Intuitive
  • High-impact
  • Technically polished
  • Easy to understand under event conditions

Motion design as part of the experience

Animation played a major role in the installation.

The motion language helped guide interaction, support immersion, and create a more futuristic visual atmosphere aligned with HERE’s positioning as a technology and mapping innovator.

Rather than treating animation as decoration, the project approached motion as part of the communication system itself.

The result was a smoother and more cohesive interactive experience across the installation.

Supporting global experiential work

Jack Morton Worldwide is widely recognized for creating large-scale brand experiences for global companies.

Being selected to contribute to projects operating at this level required Xfiner to integrate seamlessly into an international production environment where timing, quality, and execution standards are extremely demanding.

The collaboration demonstrated Xfiner’s ability to contribute specialized UX/UI and motion expertise within complex experiential projects involving multiple teams, technologies, and production layers.

The outcome

The final installation delivered a polished interactive experience designed specifically for the demands of CES.

The collaboration helped support HERE’s presence at one of the world’s most visible technology events while reinforcing the immersive quality of the broader Jack Morton production.

For Xfiner, the project also reinforced an important principle:

In experiential environments, small interface details often shape the overall emotional impact of the experience.

Designing experiences beyond the screen

Projects like this exist somewhere between UX/UI design, motion design, spatial experience, and digital storytelling.

They require an understanding of how people behave in physical environments, how attention moves, and how technology can create emotional engagement at scale.

This collaboration with Jack Morton Worldwide and HERE Technologies became another example of how thoughtful digital craftsmanship can elevate immersive brand experiences on a global stage.

Tell us about your operations, goals, or challenges

Hi, I’m Lauri, founder of Xfiner. Over the past decade, I’ve helped businesses across 29+ countries improve digital experiences, operational workflows, and business-critical systems through design, technology, and modern execution.

Along the way, the work has earned 11+ international design awards and led to collaborations with global brands, growing commerce businesses, and operational teams.

Over time, one pattern became clear: most growing businesses already have systems and tools, but operations still become slower, more fragmented, and harder to manage as complexity grows.

That is why Xfiner exists today. We help businesses simplify operational work through intelligent integrations, AI-assisted workflows, operational tools, and modern execution built around how teams actually operate.

I’d be glad to learn more about your workflows, goals, and operational challenges on our discovery call.
