Xfiner supported the German giant Innomotics – an employer of over 15,000 people – with design and animation.
It was both an honor and a pleasure for Xfiner to collaborate with Innomotics, a company based in Germany that employs more than 15,000 people globally and was founded in 2023 following the spin-off of a business unit from Siemens AG. A heartfelt thank-you to our great German friend Jürgen from Bavaria360, who made this collaboration possible. Thank you! This was an absolutely massive project – with an enormous scale, highly detailed content, and technically complex challenges. An incredible experience!
Who and what is Innomotics?
Innomotics is a leading manufacturer of electric motors and large drive systems, headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany. The company was established on July 1, 2023, following Siemens AG’s decision to spin off its motor and drive division into an independent entity. One year later, in October 2024, Innomotics was acquired by the U.S.-based private equity firm KPS Capital Partners in a deal valued at €3.5 billion.
The company’s product portfolio includes low- and high-voltage motors, medium-voltage converters, geared motors, as well as generators and spindle solutions. In addition, Innomotics offers comprehensive services and digital solutions to enhance industrial efficiency, electrification, and sustainability. With 17 production sites and a sales and service network across 49 countries, Innomotics has a strong global presence.
Combining over 150 years of Siemens engineering experience with modern innovation and reliability, Innomotics serves as a backbone for motion in industries and infrastructure around the world.
What did the collaboration involve?
Xfiner contributed to Innomotics' visual and digital presence through:
- 3D animations and creation of 3D objects
- A wide range of 2D and 3D design work and video production
- Concept development for web design
